In the heart of the Médoc, our plots enjoy a privileged location alongside the greatest classified growths of Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, sharing with them geological richness and terroir excellence.
Here, golden gravel soils and complex clays give the vine its structure and depth. There, the ocean shapes the climate, regulates temperatures, and leaves its saline freshness.

BLANC DE NOIRS
Blanc de noirs, a deliberate stylistic choice
The House has chosen to craft its crémants exclusively as blanc de noirs, thereby affirming its expertise.
Our historic vineyards, farmed by our Châteaux for decades to produce still wines from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, now reveal another facet: effervescence.
The structure, density, and depth inherent to these black grape varieties make them a preferred choice. Vinified as white wines, thanks to immediate pressing without maceration, they reveal finesse, elegance, and minerality.
The art of blanc de noirs demands goldsmith-like precision and an uncompromising commitment to excellence: from hand-harvesting in crates to parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled tanks. A savoir-faire where tradition meets modernity.
Furthermore, to control our production as closely as possible, at this stage no must is purchased and no base wine enters our cuvées: only our grapes shape the identity of Maison DORÉAN.
This is why today a Doréan crémant is unlike any other.
